Professional Development Schools Network

For more than 30 years, the USC Professional Development School (PDS) Network has cultivated collaborative partnerships that strengthen educators, schools, and communities. With 25 active partnerships across six South Carolina school districts, the USC PDS Network advances educator preparation, professional learning, collaborative inquiry, research, innovation, and continuous improvement through meaningful collaboration among university, school, and district partners.

Our History

The USC Professional Development School (PDS) Network is one of the nation's oldest and largest Professional Development School networks. Since its first Network meeting on October 4, 1990, the USC PDS Network has grown through collaborative partnerships with schools and districts across South Carolina. It continues to evolve while remaining grounded in the collaborative relationships and shared purpose that have defined the USC PDS Network since its beginning.
